This lecture will provide in-depth information on interpretation of EKG rhythms:

  • EKG refresher: Segments of an EKG strip

  • Calculating a heart rate from a rhythm strip

  • Normal and abnormal EKG strips

  • How to properly interpret an EKG rhythm strip 

  • How to escalate, manage, and treat abnormal rhythms

Robby Lederman NRP, CIC, FPC is the founder and CEO of Madison Programs, a Brooklyn based training and education company. Courses include BLS, ACLS, PALS, phlebotomy and IV insertion. Robby started his career as a New York State EMT close to 40 years ago and has been a paramedic for over 35 years both as a volunteer and within the New York City 911 system. He is currently a National Registry Paramedic as well as a Critical Care and Flight Paramedic and a NYS Certified Instructor. Robby is Regional Faculty for American Heart Association BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. Robby lectures worldwide specializing in Emergency PreHospital care. EMS education is his passion.
