  • Common lab values: Complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, coagulation panel, liver function tests, and more

  • Normal lab ranges

  • Abnormal results and their significance

  • Treatment and correction of abnormal lab values

Shoshana Deutsch

DNP, FNP-BC

Shoshana Deutsch DNP, FNP-BC received her BS in Biology from Touro College and her BSN and MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University. She completed her DNP at Wagner College in 2017. She currently works as a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Room at Montefiore Medical Center-Weiler Division in the Bronx, where she has worked for the past 19.5 years. There Shoshana continues to precept NP students from many of the local colleges and universities. Prior to her time at Montefiore, she worked in a primary care office in Lawrence, NY and with substance abuse and HIV patients in a clinic in Brooklyn, NY. She is married and has volunteered as a firefighter, paramedic, and lieutenant with the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department for the past 25 years.
